Area guide
The bay
The village faces south down the bay towards Sami, with Ithaca across the strait and the slopes of the Pylaros valley behind. It is an overnight stop for yachts sailing between Fiskardo and Ithaca, and the small pebble coves along the road north are its beaches. Sami, with the ferries to Ithaca and Patras, is a short drive round the bay; the airport is on the far side of the island.

The stock is village houses, some restored, together with newer villas on the slopes above the harbour and towards the coves, and plots in the valley.
