An island for boats
Antipaxos is a small island of vineyard and scrub with scattered houses and no village to speak of. In summer the beaches on its eastern side fill with day visitors from Paxos and Corfu, and the anchorages off them with yachts; in winter it is very nearly empty. Water taxis run from Gaios, and owners of boats on Paxos treat the crossing as an afternoon's outing.
