The resort and the bay
The resort occupies the western part of the bay, a grid of streets of bars and hotels behind a wide, shallow beach. The marine park limits lighting and boat traffic along the nesting beaches and, behind several of them, building, and the low-lying land around the resort carries hotels and apartments. Kalamaki is at the eastern end of the same beach beside the airport; Keri and its cliffs close the bay to the west.
