Agios Georgios Pagon is a long sandy bay on Corfu's north-west coast, about an hour from the airport, enclosed by the Afionas headland to the north and wooded slopes to the south, with the village of Pagi in the hills above. The other Agios Georgios is in the south-west. It is a summer resort of small hotels, apartments and tavernas along a beach road, quiet from October to May. It suits buyers who want a west-facing beach with space around it.

The bay
The beach curves between the headland and the cliffs with the road running behind it and the settlement strung along that road. Afionas sits on the headland above the northern end, a village of stone houses with views over both this bay and Arillas; Pagi, the village that gives the beach its name, is in the hills above. Paleokastritsa is to the south, reached by road through the hills rather than along the coast.
